INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH (for Manual Seat)

(a) Install the front seat inner belt LH with the nut.

Torque: 42 N·m (428 kgf·cm, 31 ft·lbf)

NOTICE:

Do not allow the anchor part of the front seat inner belt to overlap the protruding part of the front seat adjuster.

(b) Connect the 2 connectors and engage the 4 clamps.

2. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH (for Power Seat)

(a) Install the front seat inner belt LH with the nut.

Torque: 42 N·m (428 kgf·cm, 31 ft·lbf)

NOTICE:

Do not allow the anchor part of the front seat inner belt to overlap the protruding part of the front seat adjuster.

(b) Connect the 2 connectors and engage the 4 clamps.

3. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Climate Control Seat System)

(a) Install the front seat inner belt LH with the nut.

Torque: 42 N·m (428 kgf·cm, 31 ft·lbf)

NOTICE:

Do not allow the anchor part of the front seat inner belt to overlap the protruding part of the front seat adjuster.

(b) Connect the 2 connectors and engage the 5 clamps.

4. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY RH (for Manual Seat)

(a) Install the front seat inner belt RH with the nut.

Torque: 42 N·m (428 kgf·cm, 31 ft·lbf)

NOTICE:

Do not allow the anchor part of the front seat inner belt to overlap the protruding part of the front seat adjuster.

(b) Connect the connector and engage the 3 clamps.

5. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY RH (for Power Seat)

(a) Install the front seat inner belt RH with the nut.

Torque: 42 N·m (428 kgf·cm, 31 ft·lbf)

NOTICE:

Do not allow the anchor part of the front seat inner belt to overlap the protruding part of the front seat adjuster.

(b) Connect the connector and engage the clamp.

6. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Climate Control Seat System)

(a) Install the front seat inner belt RH with the nut.

Torque: 42 N·m (428 kgf·cm, 31 ft·lbf)

NOTICE:

Do not allow the anchor part of the front seat inner belt to overlap the protruding part of the front seat adjuster.

(b) Connect the connector and engage the clamp.

7. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD INNER LH (for Manual Seat) SEAT: FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Manual Seat): REASSEMBLY (2008 Sequoia)+

8. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH (for Manual Seat)

(a) Install the front seat assembly SEAT: FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Manual Seat): INSTALLATION (2008 Sequoia) .

9. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH (for Power Seat)

(a) Install the front seat assembly SEAT: FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Power Seat): INSTALLATION (2008 Sequoia) .

10. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

Torque: 5.4 N·m (55 kgf·cm, 48 in·lbf)

NOTICE:

When disconnecting the cable some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected INTRODUCTION: REPAIR INSTRUCTION: INITIALIZATION (2008 Sequoia) .
